Amrita has been a journalist for the past decade, eventually narrowing her focus to her lifelong passion for lifestyle writing. Her expertise lies primarily in travel, food, and cinema. She has worked with some of India's leading media houses, covering both hard news and lifestyle stories. She has also written travel pieces for Burda Media. Amrita prefers living a nomadic life, switching between beaches during winter and retreating to the mountains to escape the peak summer heat. During her travels, she loves indulging in stories (and food) from people around the world.
Education
Amrita has an undergraduate degree in history from Lady Shri Ram College, Delhi University, and a master's degree in journalism from the Indian Institute of Journalism and New Media, Bangalore, India.
