- Angelica has visited nearly 40 countries spanning across five continents.
- Some of her travel highlights include exploring the Caribbean Sea in a submarine, seeing the Northern Lights, visiting Machu Picchu, and trekking through the Amazon Rainforest.
- Passionate about world cuisine, she will enthusiastically try as many local dishes as possible when traveling and try to recreate them back home.
Experience
Angelica began her career in journalism as an editorial assistant at her local newspaper before progressing to a position at Grazia Magazine, where she had a travel review published from a press trip to the Caribbean island of Saint Martin. After working as a self-employed writer in the luxury industry for five years, Angelica embarked on a year-long backpacking adventure across South America and Southeast Asia, documenting her experiences on her personal blog. By sharing lived travel experience in the form of guides, coupled with photography, she hopes that more people will have the confidence to explore further afield. Her ethos is that travel is the best way to learn about oneself and gain a greater understanding of our world, so she seeks out off-the-beaten-track experiences with a focus on people, food, wildlife and culture. A passion for storytelling led her to Islands.
Education
Angelica received her B.A. in Graphic Communication Design from University of the Arts London.
