- Lexi is an avid reader and writer who grew up in "Hollywood's Playground", Palm Springs, California. Throughout her childhood she spent many a quiet summer in her family's village of Cesuna in Northern Italy, inciting a love of slow travel.
- After college, Lexi went to graduate school and worked in Rome for four years, and spent many breaks and holidays exploring different corners of Europe.
- Since 2018, Lexi has traveled and lived abroad almost non-stop and visited over 20 countries around the globe, both solo and with her partner. Ready for a slower pace of life, she has since moved to Seattle, Washington and has been enjoying exploring her new city and the beautiful nature of the greater Pacific Northwest.
Experience
Lexi is a professional journalist who has always had a love of reading and writing. Since graduating college, she has led a colorful career in writing, communications, and marketing, spanning work at the United Nations, tech companies, and health and wellness publications including The Nutrition Insider. She also previously wrote for Static Media's Explore as a travel writer, a role which allowed her to explore different destinations around the world as a digital nomad. Lexi enjoys writing about slow travel, European destinations, and the importance of being a culturally sensitive and eco-minded traveler.
Education
Lexi obtained her bachelor's degree in non-fiction creative writing at the University of Redlands, where she graduated with honors. Lexi also obtained her master's degree in sustainable food studies at the American University of Rome.
