Experience
Lucie has worked as a freelance writer for over 10 years, cutting her teeth as a music journalist before moving into the travel sector in 2019. She is a regular contributor to the travel pages of UK newspapers such as The Independent, The i Paper, and The Times, as well as writing for BBC Travel, National Geographic Traveller, and Lonely Planet, for whom she co-wrote guidebooks to India, South India, Croatia, and The Balkans. Lucie grew up in Malta and now resides in Thailand, where she can usually be found on a train or in a hot spring.
Education
Lucie has a bachelor's degree in English and art history and a master's in museum studies, as well as a postgraduate certificate in education for teaching 6-11 year old age group. She began a doctorate in sociology of creative education, which is currently on hiatus.
