- Since moving to California from the UK in 2021, Lucy has visited more than 10 National Parks, and her favorite so far is Yosemite.
Experience
Lucy has worked as a journalist for over a decade, covering areas including travel, archaeology, and investigative journalism. She is the former assistant editor of The Travel Magazine, where she wrote more than 150 articles focusing on travel inspiration and adventure. She first got the travel bug after spending a month on an archaeological dig in Peru in 2010, and has never looked back. As well as covering travel, Lucy is the managing producer for several investigative podcasts made by the production studio, Project Brazen, including the Peabody-nominated podcast, "Kabul Falling." Lucy is a native Brit who now lives in northern California, where she can't get enough of the sunny weather and beautiful trails.
Education
Lucy gained her NCTJ qualification in Magazine Journalism in 2013 from Up To Speed Journalism. She also holds a First Class undergraduate degree in Archaeology and Anthropology from the University of Bristol.
