Experience
Akram began his writing career as a film critic in 2019 for High on Films, covering some of the largest film festivals in the world, while simultaneously writing about his favorite classics for a personal website titled Exhuming Cinema. In 2021, he relocated to Casablanca, Morocco, to pursue his master's degree while writing for multiple publications, competing professionally in chess, and performing as a musician in two bands. His work on travel, literature, film, and culture has appeared in Reader's Digest, Thrillist, Independent Book Review, Hearing Things, and other publications.
Education
Akram holds a bachelor's degree in English studies from University Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah and a master's degree in cultural management and policy from University Hassan II.
