Experience
After an extensive career in the advertising industry as a national sales coordinator, Tosh became a seasoned writer and traveler. She had a long run working for mainstream newspaper publications such as The Toronto Star, Metro Free Daily, as well as The National Post. She specializes in writing about solo travel, as well as providing in-depth travel guides about countries that she's visited around the world -- many of which, she has explored on the back of a motorcycle. She joined Static Media as a writer for Explore in 2025, and has since contributed to PlanetWare and the Islands news team. When Tosh isn't crafting up blog posts about her travels or researching interesting new ways for readers to enjoy destinations abroad, she can often be found planning her next excursion and purchasing travel guide books to places she has yet to visit.
