- Mark elevated his writing career in 2009, creating travel guides for Las Vegas tourism.
- He developed a content strategy for PearlHarbor.org and wrote content covering sustainable tourism, Hawaiian culture, and World War II history.
- Mark worked closely with travel agencies to develop content for locations such as New York City, Dallas, Montreal, the Dominican Republic, Santa Domingo, Punta Cana, Venice, and Rome.
Experience
Mark's freelance career has been diverse, with bylines in gaming, tech, automotive, food and beverage, healthcare, and travel. Since starting in 2009, he's developed a portfolio of consumer-facing travel content covering tour packages, sustainability tips, location history, cultural diversity, and even local paranormal legends and cryptid mythology. His interest in travel and tourism was sparked when he moved to Las Vegas in 2010 and witnessed the otherwise unspoken diversity in experiences available.
Education
Mark has a Bachelor of Arts in communications from Southern New Hampshire University.
