Bridget is a freelance writer and illustrator with a background in travel. She got her start working at Time Out's magazine in Buenos Aires, then went on to become a Lonely Planet author, traveling on assignment to Brazil, Spain, Chile, Mexico, and many other destinations. She's covered travel, art, culture, food, and wine for Anthony Bourdain Parts Unknown, Roads & Kingdoms, Dwell, Paste, The Guardian, Afar, Wine Enthusiast, The Telegraph, and a variety of other publications. Bridget is bilingual in Spanish and English. She's also a watercolor artist who makes custom illustrations, often travel-related, on commission for clients.
Education
Bridget has a bachelor's degree in English from the Schreyer Honors College at Penn State University.
