- Growing up in Essex and now based in South London, he has written about everything from climbing Toubkal and skiing in Hokkaido to making the most of your time in India's Golden Triangle and wild camping in Britain's outdoor spaces.
- In 2023, he joined the team at National Geographic Traveller as deputy branded content editor, working on projects online and in print.

Jack has been working as a professional writer and editor since 2015. From 2020 to 2023, Jack was the group editorial lead across the adventure sports titles Mpora, Whitelines, and Outdoors Magic. He has also written for The Red Bulletin and MUNDIAL. When he's not typing out words relating to travel and adventure, you'll find him doing likewise about football (soccer), cricket, and various other sports. The time he interviewed legendary skateboarder Tony Hawk remains one of his major talking points at social gatherings.

Jack holds a BSc (Hons) in communication, media and society from the University of Leicester.
